KnotNow for Apple Watch is live.
Record your next sail from your wrist — then open the same session on iPhone or the web for the full debrief.
If you already use KnotNow on iPhone, update to the latest App Store build. The Watch app installs with it. Open KnotNow on Apple Watch after pairing, allow Health and Location when prompted, and you are ready to record.
On the water
While you sail, wing, foil or windsurf, glance at live metrics without digging through menus:
- Speed — current and max
- Distance — total distance sailed
- Time — elapsed workout time with GPS active
- Bearing — heading in degrees and cardinal directions
- Units — knots/NM, km/h/km, or mph/mi

After you save
Hit Save on the Watch — the session transfers to the KnotNow iPhone app automatically. When you are signed in and online, it uploads the same way as a phone recording. Then open Sessions for VMG, polars, tack and gybe breakdowns, and your logbook.
Prefer Garmin? We still have a Garmin watch app. Prefer Strava or a GPX file? Those import paths stay exactly as they are.
