KnotNow is officially on Google Play.

Android sailors, wingers, and windsurfers: the same app is now available for you — completely free from day one. No credit card. No locked features. No trial limits.

After launching on the App Store, we’ve been hard at work bringing KnotNow to Android. Same account, same sessions, same forecasts — whether you’re on iPhone or Android.

We’re focused on building the best wind sports community on the water. Grab the app, sail, wing, or foil, upload or sync your session, and tell us what works. Honest feedback helps us make this the app we always wished existed for UK watersports.

What you get in the app

The Android app brings together the two sides of KnotNow:

• Sessions & debrief: Speed, VMG, tack and gybe metrics, leg asymmetry, foil time, gear-filtered stats, achievements, and logbook history.
• Forecasts on the go: Your favourite spots, hourly wind, tide, sewage discharges, and water quality to help decide whether to rig up or stay in the van.

How to get started

1. Download KnotNow from Google Play (or the App Store on iPhone).
2. Sign in with the same account you use on knotnow.co.uk (or create one in the app).
3. Log a session — record on the phone, sync from Strava, or upload a GPX from your watch.
4. Open the app for session analysis: map, legs, turns, speed intervals, and the stats that actually explain the session.
