Speed & equipment
Peak speed is fun; sustained bursts tell you whether you can hold a lane, win a short drag, or carry power through a gust. KnotNow reports short-window peaks - typically 2, 5, and 10 seconds - alongside distance-based splits (including sprints such as 50 m and 100 m and longer runs up to hundreds of metres and beyond on the leaderboard).
Numbers without context fade. On each session you can save board, wing or sail, and foil from your personal kit library, and use notes for anything else - rig settings, fin, harness line length, crew weight, or “second reef.” Over time that builds a honest record of what you were actually sailing when the numbers told the same story you remember from the water.
- Short bursts - compare 2s / 5s / 10s peaks between sessions.
- Distance splits - see average speed over set lengths where the app supports them.
- Kit + notes - tie performance to equipment and tuning you can repeat.
