West Shore Beach Winging Guide

Winging, Sailing & Windsurfing Forecast

the go-to "bump and jump" spot for the North Wales coast.

Unlike the more famous North Shore (which is a wind shadow for prevailing winds), West Shore faces into the Conwy Estuary and picks up consistent SW winds. It is a sandy, shallow-sloping beach that is very popular with the local winging community. Perfect for "downwinders" toward Llanfairfechan for advanced foilers.
