Located just north of the main Rhosneigr village, Traeth Crigyll offers a broader, more open beach.
It is often slightly less crowded than the Town Beach and is the preferred launch for kitesurfers and wingers looking for more space to set up. The wind here is typically cleaner as it is further from the "wind shadows" created by the village buildings. Excellent "bump and jump" conditions; a great alternative if the main town beach is too busy.
SW, W, NW (Rhosneigr wave capital; ALL)
15-22 knots for stable flight and small swell; 25 knots + for advanced wave riding with 3m or smaller wings.
Sailable at all states (wide sandy flats at low tide are excellent for beginners taxiing)
