Stithians Lake Winging Guide

Winging, Sailing & Windsurfing Forecast

Loading forecast data...

Often cited as the windiest inland spot in England, Stithians Lake is Cornwall's premier destination for those who want to avoid the heavy Atlantic swell.

Its location creates a natural funnel that often accelerates the wind, providing reliable conditions when the coast is either too wild or too calm. The lake is an accredited RYA wing centre and is exceptionally popular due to its safety and the quality of its facilities. It offers a flat-water environment that is perfect for practising transitions, and because you are never far from a bank, it provides a massive confidence boost for those venturing onto smaller boards.
