arguably the most famous flat-water spot in the UK.

The "inside" (Whitley Lake) is a shallow, sandy-bottomed lagoon that is perfect for learning to foil, while the "outside" (sea side) offers world-class bump and jump. It is a highly social hub with numerous shops and schools nearby. Whitley Lake is a dedicated boardsports area that is waist-deep for hundreds of metres, making it the safest place in the region for beginners to learn to taxi. However, it dries out completely at low water. For foilers, the "Sea Side" provides clean wind and great swells that increase as the wind blows over several days.
