Marconi Sailing Club is located on the south bank of the River Blackwater at Stansgate.
Founded in 1953, it has evolved into a premier East Coast hub for high-performance sailing and foiling. The club provides access to the vast and relatively sheltered waters of the Blackwater Estuary, offering a mix of flat-water speed reaches and rolling estuary chop. It is particularly famous for its catamaran heritage and shares a deep technical knowledge of wind and tide with its members. It is an expert community with a strong focus on progression.
