Winging, Sailing & Windsurfing Forecast

Loading forecast data...

Bowleaze Cove, located at the eastern end of Weymouth Bay, is a popular and scenic spot for winging and windsurfing.

It offers a more relaxed alternative to the high-performance environment of Portland Harbour. The bay is relatively sheltered from the heaviest swells, providing a "bump and jump" playground that is accessible to a wide range of skill levels. The community here is a mix of locals and holidaymakers, creating a vibrant and busy atmosphere. The benefit of Bowleaze is the easy launch and the variety of conditions; in a Southerly wind, it can produce fun, manageable waves for wing foilers to practice their first surf turns. Ideal Conditions: SW, S. Southerly winds blow directly into the cove, providing clean air.
