the primary inland winging and windsurfing destination for Suffolk.
This large, winding reservoir provides a safe and non-tidal environment that is perfect for mastering the basics of wing foiling. Because the water is enclosed, there are no currents or "shore dump" to worry about, allowing riders to focus entirely on their gear. The on-site activity centre is well-equipped and has a very active winging programme. It is a fantastic family-friendly venue with excellent shore facilities, making it a comfortable place to spend the day even when the coastal conditions are too wild. Ideal Conditions: SW, W, NW, N, NE, E, SE, S. Works in any direction, though South-Westerly is the cleanest.
