The stone groynes make it a technical launch. Beginners should stick to lighter winds or head to the more sheltered sections.

Things to watch

Granite Groynes.

Granite groynes are everywhere - stay upwind! The groynes are a major hazard for foils and require careful navigation. High Tide is actually better for wingers to avoid the groynes, but always be aware of your position.
