KnotNow for Garmin
Built for real conditions
Built for sailors, wing foilers, and windsurfers who need data that works in the real world. KnotNow is designed around one rule: glanceable on the water. Big numbers, high-contrast type, and zero clutter. Every metric has its own dedicated screen, making it easy to read mid-session and easy to use with gloves.
From pre-start to debrief
Pre-start. Point the watch at the wind to set direction, dial in wind speed and units (knots, km/h, mph), then tap a big Start to begin recording.
Underway. Speed (current and max), distance, elapsed time, laps (lap max and distance), a full compass rose for bearing, and a GPS-lock readout.
Racing. 5- or 3-minute sequences with haptics at 10 s, 5 s, and GO; short-press to snap to the nearest minute, long-press to start/stop; auto-lap at 0:00 for a clean race start in your file.
After sailing. Check the on-watch summary when you finish, then carry the same session into KnotNow Sessions here — maps, VMG, tack and gybe analysis, personal bests, and your logbook. Upload when you are ready (GPX or TCX from Garmin works great); everything you already use on the site is waiting for you.
Built by sailors, for sailors. Experience the most readable sailing app on the IQ Store.
On-watch views
One metric per screen — high contrast, no clutter — so you can read it at a glance on the water.
